The Argument

If you are looking for a quick and easy way to help during the pandemic, donating food or money is an excellent way to do it. A huge number of organisations are working tirelessly to ensure those affected by coronavirus and the corresponding self-isolation measures are looked after, whether they be those infected and their families, those who are vulnerable to infection, those who may be unable to go to grocery stores or pharmacies, or health workers. In the UK, the following organisations are great options for food and money donation: - The Trussell Trust - runs roughly 60% of the UK's foodbanks. Their website also has additional information on donating food and money.[1] - FareShare - A London group redistributes unwanted food to those in need.[2] - Cumbria: The Foodbank[3]
