I definitely agree that it depends on the definition of freedom. When the monopoly is too "free", it might make the lower-income families suffer while if it's the opposite, it might make many people feel they are regulated!

The purpose of a corporation is to maximize its profit and to increase its sale. A lot of the time, environmental values are ignored due to these.
