I am a journalist originally from Central Ohio living in Washington, D.C. for a semester. Previous to my move, I served as Assistant Express Editor and Senior Marlboro Reporter at Emerson College's student-run newspaper, The Berkeley Beacon. I specialize in data reporting and deep dives but I can also turn quick deadlines with protest coverage and breaking news. I have a background in economics and am interested in politics, culture, and tech and how those three roads intersect. Outside of writing, I can often be found sipping a cup of coffee with my film cameras by my side.
