Hello my name is Juliette, I am a french student in an international english class. This year, we are asked to make a presentation on a subject of out choice. I have decided to talk about mental health, more specifically to ask myself the question "are mental illnesses in british television shows a stigmatisation or an awareness campaign?" To achieve this goal we were also asked to gain an international partner who could help us by answering our questions so that we can view a more professional opinion as wwell as answering some of our questions regarding the presentation topic. It would be a pleasure to ask you questions about the portrayal of mental illnesses in tv-series (I want to talk about peaky blinders and skins ) as it is important for myself and others to raise a great awareness on mental helth and its stigmatisation in order to educate others better.
