**It's not known if the Ark of the Covenant is in Ethiopia, but many people believe it rests in a chapel in the northern part of the country.**
- The Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion in northern Ethiopia is reputed to hold the Ark of the Covenant, a sacred relic of the Israelites that the Book of Exodus describes as containing two stone tablets with the Ten Commandments written on them.
- "The ark is believed by Ethiopian Orthodox Christians to have been brought to Aksum by Menelik, the son of the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon of Israel, after Jerusalem was sacked in 586/587BC and Solomon’s temple destroyed. It has since been guarded by a succession of monks who are forbidden until death to leave the church grounds," Harriet Sherwood [writes](https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jan/24/fabled-ark-could-be-among-ancient-treasures-in-danger-in-ethiopias-deadly-war).
- Another theory is that the "Ark was hidden in a warren of passages beneath the First Temple in Jerusalem before the Babylonians destroyed it in 586 B.C.".
- Archaeologists are [skeptical](https://www.nationalgeographic.com/history/article/ark-covenant) the ark can ever be found.

The Ark of the Covenant is not a physical third dimension item. The container for the Ark was created to protect humans from the radioactive material that was inside. The Ark is an armor; the spiritual realm has great battles for each and every soul, an epic battle takes place, and this armor called the Ark is what is used on the human during the battle for their souls.
