**TL;DR: God’s approval is only important to those who believe in Christianity, and there is no true way to know what God would approve of.** * For me personally, God, or any gods' approval of my actions is not important, as I do not follow a religion. However, I understand that considering the approval of God can be important to those who practice Christian religions and use their faith as a part of their daily lives. The approval of God, in whatever form they may take it in, can be affirming and comforting. * However, even if God’s approval is part of your decision making process, it’s quite difficult to pinpoint exactly what God as an ethereal deity, would truly think of every decision. Does God change their stances and opinions as the world changes? Do the parameters of God’s "right and wrong" warp as time moves on and social contexts transform? * As a quick last point, no one should be able to make decisions for other people based on their religion that another person may not follow.
