After being chased around the ring and driven to fatigue and blood loss, the bullfighter will pierce the bull with his sword. If this doesn't kill the animal straight away, fighters have been known to sever the bull's spinal cord. Official bullfights are funded by [taxpayer subsidies] (https://www.peta.org.uk/issues/animals-not-use-entertainment/bullfighting/) which come from local, regional, national and EU governments. This money would be better dispersed elsewhere to help the economy. Bullfighting, although traditional, is extremely inhumane. Just because something is valued as tradition, doesn't make it morally right, which is why bullfighting should be banned.
