TL;DR: Easy, breezy, lemon squeezy

• A dress is an outfit in one. You don’t need to worry about coordination – just pop it on and voilá, you are dressed! This can save a lot of time and fuss in a busy lifestyle.

• Dresses are the comfiest item of clothing. A floaty skirt hides a multitude of sins and doesn’t restrict your body like trousers do.

• They come in all kinds of styles, prints, colours and shapes. There is a dress to suit every occasion, body type, and personality.

• Everyone looks great in dresses! From Lizzo to Harry Styles, fashionistas continue to flaunt the inexhaustible potential of a good dress.

There’s a key difference between the phrase “everyone should…” and “everyone should be able to…”, the latter in this case. Unfortunately there’s prejudice towards breaking gender norms within society, more-so amongst older generations. Individualism spans across all of society, yet those use the phrase lightly often follow with ‘to an extent’. Society will evolve through the generations; equality will prevail. For now, we must invite change, act against discrimination and strive for true freedom. Equality has its limits, and in my opinion, it’ll never truly be reached. However, we can gain further to achieve that goal with progression; an equal society.
