**TL;DR God tolerates evil so we can have freedom of choice** On the contrary, a God could not be good without a tolerance for all that is evil. In major religions, what makes God good despite tolerating evil is His hatred for it. Tolerating evil and being evil are not one in the same. He tolerates what He despises for the sake of giving us free will. All evil is tolerated, but in exchange we are formed into people instead of puppets. In exchange we live without a predetermined will, without being born into the world preprogrammed to “choose” only what is good. To live as a puppet is what is truly evil. We can choose wrong because we were given the right to choose. Moreover, there is evidence to supply that God does not enjoy that which is evil. For instance, He provides a set of religious instructions that actively guides humankind away from what is determined to be evil. For those who do wrong, He provides an avenue for unlimited forgiveness and guidance in the right direction featuring stories of people in similar situations. And as a just God, He does not leave evil unpunished. He does not enjoy the presence of evil being that He Himself carries out justice for evil acts in the afterlife. There is a natural balance that remains, while providing freedom simultaneously.

These three qualities used to define God seem to deny the existence of evil, and as we know that evil exists through our experience in the world, some conclude that God cannot exist. The problem revolves around these three paradoxes that find evil and God incompatible: • God does not know that evil exists and therefore cannot be omniscient. • God cannot prevent evil from existing and therefore cannot be omnipotent. • God wants evil to exist and therefore cannot be omnibenevolent. The arguments for and against this opinion are partaking in the very long history of this philosophical debate – which is thought to have been started by the Ancient Greek philosopher [Epicurus](https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/guides/zhsjscw/revision/7) who lived from 342-271 BC! I don’t think that this problem is going to be solved anytime soon!

We might be tempted to cite the problem of evil as evidence here, but that would only disprove an omnibenevolent (all good) god. It is possible that an amoral (without morals) god exists, which makes no moral considerations.

The reason that god can exist with evil is for this reason. If I created a car brand, and that car brand had a bunch of defective cars. I would still tolerate it, and still make more cars, and still try to become successful. The idea that a god can't exist merely based on the imperfections of this world is completely garbage. Im not saying that the Christian god is the real god or the islam god or any god. but one god, to be honest is real. I am christian and believe in the holy trinity. If you can sit here and tell me there is no god, then I can't agree with you there. Just like a building, you probably do not know the builder of that building in person, that does not mean there is not a builder. Just like the creator, God. You do not see him in person, but the things he created is enough for me to conclude he still created it. Just because things like the holocaust, or even covid happened does not mean God isn't real. We've been terrible to god. we don't need help from someone we aren't even willing to protect the very creation he made.
