**Both are good; drink what you want and drink safely!**
Personally, I enjoy drinking wine more than beer because I simply like the taste better and it tends to make me feel less bloated afterwards. However, both drinks can contribute to bloating and discomfort. Beer acts like carbonated beverages and [releases CO2](https://www.insider.com/drinks-to-avoid-if-you-want-flat-stomach-2018-7#beer-might-actually-cause-a-beer-belly-4) into the body. Wine, like beer, [contains yeast](https://xogwine.com/is-there-yeast-in-wine/), which also contributes to bloating and discomfort after excessive drinking. So, there is not much merit to the argument over which is “better” for you considering both effect the body similarly and are similar in calories.
Beer vs. wine pretty much comes down to personal taste, and each drink may have a more fitting place depending on what sort of event or location you are at.
(As a side note I do feel as if I get a “different” kind of effect from wine, but I think that may be psychosomatic, lol.)

Ditto... I can drink far more wine (and frankly vodka) than I can beer... It might also be chemical, rather than psychosomatic!
