Visited then lived in Israel for couple years. There were jews and Arabs all living together. Saw Arab police, Arab soldiers, Arab judges and kenezet members, there is no apartheid

The implication, I think, is that since Gaza and the West are de facto under Israeli control, they should also be considered part of the Israeli state.

The two state solution is the most popular outcome and is agreed upon by international community. Gaza and the West Bank have their own governments. It is true that Israel controls imports for an example, but this is supposed to be a phase not a destination. In Israel proper Jews are 80 percent of the population.

**Israel is, by definition, an apartheid state.**
First it is important to understand what the term apartheid means. The term apartheid was originally associated with South Africa from the term meaning "apartness" in Afrikaans. The Rome Statute defines the crime of apartheid as: “inhumane acts...committed in the context of an institutionalized regime of systematic oppression and domination by one racial group over any other racial group or groups and committed with the intention of maintaining that regime.” [Article 7 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (2002)]
Secondly it is important to establish that Israel are the oppressive power. Every aspect of the lives of the residents in Occupied Palestinian Territories such as the Gaza Strip and the West Bank are under the control of Israeli government forces. Over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza alone were already under the Israeli government's land, air and sea blockade in May 2021, before Israel [closed the Palestinians of Gaza's access to the exit and entry of goods such as food, fuel and medicine for 11 days](https://reliefweb.int/report/occupied-palestinian-territory/focus-effects-israel-s-tightened-blockade-economic-and?fbclid=IwAR1aYD_5P06a2GA6XOlZ20QcstxExqGbMpZym-reI3a05qvJsSTyvTtMWN4).
There are several practices and policies occuring in Israel which satisfy this definition and the UN criteria for Israel to be declared an apartheid state. Amongst the "inhumane acts" specified by the [Rome Statute and the 1973 Apartheid Convention](https://www.hrw.org/report/2021/04/27/threshold-crossed/israeli-authorities-and-crimes-apartheid-and-persecution) are:
• “arbitrary arrest and illegal imprisonment of the members of a racial group”
• measures “designed to divide the population along racial lines by the creation of separate reserves and ghettos for the members of a racial group or groups”
• “forcible transfer”
• “expropriation of landed property”
• and denial of “the right to leave and to return to their country, [and] the right to a nationality”.
Below are examples of merely a few of the activities the Israeli government systematically engage in corresponding to the above acts.
•[arbitrary arrest and illegal imprisonment of the members of a racial group](https://tinyurl.com/4k7em5hf)

It will remain so as it is supported by the West... As long as oil is required from the middle east. When the geopolitical focus on energy security has moved elsewhere all bets will suddenly be off. The tinderbox that is surpressed and simultaneously inflamed by Israels power (and support from the West) will explode into ethnic and religious violence. Quite where that ends up is a frightening, and nuclear tipped, question.
