It is certainly possible that Mary Magdalene was A wife to Jesus. The Bible is full of holes and was written by MAN. Those men said it was inspired by god, but guess what, imperfect sinners who were men, still wrote it. Men who have subjugated women for years, why would they want a woman to be in an exalted place in history? They wouldn’t. Because women would then feel entitled to equality. Example the pro-life, pro-choice arguments playing out in modern times. Therefore I believe it is entirely possible the writers of the King James Version of the Bible who were English white men, left out things. Remember the King James Version was supposedly the only version that was FIRSt written from scrolls,. Gee could some things have been lost, In translation? The Bible itself is full of inconsistencies, in Genesis, it says Cain found a wife after he was exiled, but yet Adam and Eve are the first humans made by God, so where did Cain’s wife come from. Genesis never mentions the couple having any female children, only mentions males. If Cain’s wife was his sister, why not mention it? Oh wait, we don’t need to give importance to the females by saying their names in the first family of all humankind. I was raised a christian and I even can admit the Bible is not exactly ALL truth. I believe in Jesus even though he can’t proven to really exist. Therefore it’s entirely possible he was a married man with kids. One thing that can’t be disputed is, in Jesus’ time it was female relatives who prepared bodies for burial, this was the custom. Mary Magdalene helped prepare his body, so one can say she was a relative for sure, whether she was his wife or perhaps a sister is anyone’s guess. For anyone to say they know for sure she isn’t is a person with a closed mind. I’m not saying it is positively true but I do believe it is a possibility.
FYI, As it happens I am a direct descendant of King James IV, Stewart King, and in turn Robert the Bruce, Garsenda countess of Forcalquier many other Kings, Charlemagne, King Edward II, King Louis VI, etc... If Jesus blood runs through royal lines, it runs thru probably a great many people in our current population who are also descendants of these same Royal lines. It would not be one descendant but many.
