IVF or adoption, not surrogacy. Surrogacy usually involves the exploitation of women who are poor or come from countries that are poor. It is cruel to the woman, who naturally feels an affection for the child she has borne throughout pregnancy and given birth to. All too often, those who use surrogacy regard it as a mere monetary transaction, and have no thought for the woman whom they have exploited.
