**TL;DR** — **It deserves some love**
For those who seek to ‘support the underdog’ or ‘go against the flow’, Pepsi fits the bill. Coca-Cola leads the fizzy drink market as [the most popular] (https://www.caffeineinformer.com/top-10-soft-drinks). Although Pepsi is second on the list, it has always felt like the little sibling to the behemoth of Coca-Cola.
In [the words of the website Aooble] (https://www.aooble.com/top-popular-soft-drinks-in-the-world/) “There is no soft drink, no soft drinking company that is a rival to coca-cola in its totality, along with at least 500 other manufacturers of distinct beverages sold by the Coca-Cola Company.”
So, whilst no one will say that Pepsi is unloved or unpopular, it always feels like a second choice. Given the option, most will choose Coke. However, Pepsi rivals it in taste and the Diet Pepsi is a particularly good hangover cure. This last point has to give it the edge!

**TL;DR** - **Can we also give a shoutout to Lilt?**
A product of the [Coca-Cola company] (https://www.coca-cola.co.uk/brands/lilt), Lilt is like summer in a can. It has a combination of tropical fruits, though no one should misconstrue this and think that it is a healthy drink. It is not quite as fizzy as other soft drinks, a feature that might appeal to some. Part of Lilt's cult following is that it can also be quite hard to find. Generally found in off-licences, Lilt is cheap and always is a treat to find. Let's give Lilt some love!
