Of course, some nations and cultures are better at dealing with dismantling this type of privilege. There is no denying though, that it still deeply exists in many societies and that is a huge problem. Unfortunately, privilege can be extremely discriminatory. It benefits and disadvantages different members of communities solely based on how they look, this is a privilege some people earn from the moment that they are born. So no, not all privilege is earned. That is a deep and troubling problem, nations, societies and communities should do all we can to resolve these issues.

The significant problem is that many people think that just for being white, superiority exists when it shouldn't be like that. If you feel superior for the colour of your skin, you're not privileged; you're racist. On the other hand, I think that we can earn gaining confidence, respect, and experience in our lives, which we have to work out.

This privilege has negative connotations because it creates a false sense of entitlement and self-worth. Straight, or heterosexual privilege is not earned. It is a privilege somebody is born into. This privilege was created very long ago and was not earned. These privileges exist because of how much better off they are compared to people of other sexualities. This privilege is a strong indication of how society can accept certain groups and ostracize others. Again, this privilege enables people to treat people of other sexualities negatively and allows them to get away with certain actions members of other sexualities would not otherwise. However, because of these two dominating categories of privilege, others get overlooked and treated negatively. Unlike racial or straught privilege, monetary privilege is earned. Mocking or disrespecting people who are wealthy is disrespectful. Some businessmen and CEOs exploit minority populations and those who need money. However, some earn their money through good-fashioned hard work. Using negative blanket statements on wealthy people is not okay. Some privilege is given at birth, and some are earned. Hating privilege is not okay. Calling out those who misuse or do not use their privilege to help those without the same privileges is reasonable. Sometimes, this distinction is blurred and can create more harm than good.

A white man can be born into an incredibly poor family, and be disadvantaged in this aspect. But he will still have white and male privilege that offer him advantages over white women and anyone from another ethnicity. He still will see himself represented far more in the media than anyone else. The important thing to note is that we shouldn't feel guilty about the privilege we are afforded by society and its history. Instead we should recognise its existence, and work to ensure an equal society for everyone. And it does not take away from the achievements of those who are privileged, and have worked for what they earn. It just simply acknowledges that other people might do everything the same and not reach the same success due to factors outside of their control like race.
