I am one of them, born to a poor family, finished university against all odds, worked my ass off and still struggle on a daily basis. Meanwhile my ex-schoolmates had an easier life, their parents paid for their escalation to the ladder and most are already well off themselves now.

Being born to the right family is the best luck you can have.

The more privilege you have more tools and wealth to help them out of bad situations and to avoid them, whereas less privileged and less wealthy people may not have these same tools and it can lead to a domino effect with 'bad luck' or bad things happening in their life

• Although privileged people can definitely have awful things happen to them, their privilege and wealth give them more options and solution's to bad events in their life than poorer people
• In addition, some people can be seen to have 'bad luck' because it can be a domino effect. One bad event may lead to another or make another more likely by causing numerous different issues

TL:DR - Luck is subjective and relative, it depends on what you deem as lucky or unlucky.

• If referring to financial prosperity - with the way capitalism is intended to work, there will always be unlucky people. According to Karl Marx, as long as the means of production is not in the hands of the workers, there will always be exploitation and people who benefit from that will be luckier than those who are exploited.

• If referring to luck in its traditional sense, it’s all very subjective and it all depends on your viewpoint. If you believe that you’re lucky or fortunate, you are likely to have a more positive perspective of life. However if you’ve had some negative experiences that contribute to your belief that you are unlucky, it can be harder to identify the positives. Essentially it’s about positive and negative thinking.
  -Even if one believes they are unlucky, it may be possible to change their luck(or at least change their mindset).
  -Psychological therapy/counselling/life coaches can assist in changing mindsets
  -To improve your chances at achieving what you want to achieve there are steps you can take. For instance if you want to be a lawyer but feel bogged down by circumstances, things like going to university and getting good grades, participation in extra curriculars etc can substantially improve your chances, even if the outcome isn’t guaranteed.

This is a stupid question. What the hell does “naturally” mean?

Clearly “Fortune” plays a massive role in our lives. But “Luck” as an innate property is superstitious drivel.

Luck is random. No one is consistently luckier than someone else unless you believe in the paranormal.

If someone poor advanced in life and got really rich, is he luckier than others? I don't think luck has anything to do with it. If you got significantly richer - It means you had to consistently be smart, work hard and make the right choices over and over again.

A lot of rich people become poor. Is it because they are unlucky? Or is it because they made poor choices?

If someone got lucky, it's just one time. Most probably, they will have misfortune the next time and things will even out.

Consistency is anything but luck. Life is a marathon, not a sprint. To get ahead you need persistence, not luck.

It is so clear that people are luckier at birth than others.
It all starts with who your parents are.

--If you are born to a billionaire, in a very developed country with tons of resources, you are naturally "Lucky" it is likely that you will have a very easy life with no money issues.

--Another decider is attractiveness. This is a real kicker for me because people can be poor as dirt, in a less developed country, and be attractive and get oppurtunities like modeling that are innaccesible to anyone else, simply because they got the ideal attractive genetics.

--Anyone's life could be decided entirely by who you are born to, and how you look. Some are born impoverished, in countries torn apart by war, and they cannot do anything about it. That is the hard truth.
