From a practical, language perspective: I've always had the opinion that we should stop treating bisexual as something different from straight, or gay. I feel like being bisexual should mean that you're both homosexual AND heterosexual, rather than neither.

Based on existing research like that of the Kinsey Institute I disagree. I would even go as far as saying that the Kinsey scale also tells us a more nuanced story.
