**Blair is a war criminal in the eyes of the UN albeit not in the eyes of English law**
- All war that is not self-defensive is illegal according to Article 2 Section 4 of the [UN Charter](https://legal.un.org/repertory/art2/english/rep_supp7_vol1_art2_4.pdf) which states, 'All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any State'.
- It has been determined that Blair's use of force in Iraq does not fulfil this condition for Iraq did not pose any immediate threat or use force against the territorial integrity or political independence of the UK.
- The Chilcot Report sets out that the UK had not first exhausted peaceful options for disarmament, where military action should only be used as a last resort according to the law.
- Blair deliberately [exaggerated](https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2016/jul/06/iraq-inquiry-key-points-from-the-chilcot-report?fbclid=IwAR0ypsBQgcst7xxOEJiaz1f_gU2z1WjUpMT6zoPXj8TdAmGRqUqnzAJ7gng) the threat posed by Saddam Hussein to make a case for military action to MPs and the British public in preparation for the invasion of Iraq.
- The argument made by pro-Iraq war advocates that the Iraqi government was an imminent threat to the UK has been disproven by the Chilcot Inquiry.
- "Iran, North Korea and Libya were considered greater threats in terms of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons proliferation".
- The [report](https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jul/05/tony-blair-should-be-prosecuted-over-iraq-war-high-court-hears) has been summarised as: “Saddam Hussein did not pose an urgent threat to the UK, intelligence reporting about [Iraqi] weapons of mass destruction was presented with unwarranted certainty, that the war was unnecessary and that the UK undermined the authority of the UN security council. [...] Nothing could be more emphatic than these findings. [...] It was an unlawful war.”
- Ultimately, the high court ruled that Tony Blair should be [prosecuted](https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jul/05/tony-blair-should-be-prosecuted-over-iraq-war-high-court-hears) for war crimes for his invasion of Iraq.
- He committed a [crime of aggression](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_of_aggression): A crime of aggression is a specific type of crime where a person plans, initiates, or executes an act of aggression using state military force that violates the Charter of the United Nations.
- He only got away with this crime because crimes of aggression [do not exist](https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jul/31/tony-blair-prosecution-over-iraq-war-blocked-by-judges?fbclid=IwAR28Tksahz60KaSRhbBui6Uzemzmfu7YUe5U1MoCxa39UE6ZCQbyb5D-X3s) specifically in English law, but his involvement certainly qualifies him as a war criminal in the eyes of many other legal systems.

An intelligence report published that September with No. 10’s Full 'approval' stated that Iraq HAD weapons of 'mass destruction' which posed a clear and present danger to the West.

The Secretary of 'State for Defence', Geoff Hoon MP, announced on 6 February 2003, a war we should have and did fight, but it was totally wasted and we should have left in 2003/2004 then there was mission creep, as well as Tonly Blair imposing an air of superiority in allegiances protected by yes you have it, America's bad hand pay off with the right hand for secret Country who incidentally have never won a war yet.

Whilst John Chilcott himself forget the government lies breaking out over casualty figures and Injures.
Possibly war time pressures a new system failure, a string of missing critical reports, historians said army units losing their own history by failing to keep adequate field records.

The December 2006 report of the Iraq Study Group (ISG) found that the US had 'filtered' out reports of violence in order to disguise its perceived policy failings in Iraq. A December 7, 2006, McClatchy Newspapers article[238] reports that the ISG found that U.S. officials reported 93 attacks or significant acts of violence on one day in July 2006, yet "a careful review of the reports for that single day brought to light more than 1,100 acts of violence." The article further reports:
The finding confirmed a September 8 McClatchy Newspapers report that U.S. officials excluded scores of people killed in car bombings and mortar attacks from tabulations measuring the results of a drive to reduce violence in Baghdad. By excluding that data, U.S. officials were able to boast that deaths from sectarian violence in the Iraqi capital had declined by more than 52 percent between July and August, McClatchy newspapers reported.
