Toxic masculinity is as real as Toxic femininity. If you are to believe toxic masculinity is not a thing, it's be hypocritical to suggest toxic femininity exists. If the argument that toxic masculinity has been exaggerated and attributed to all forms of masculinity as of late I might agree.
Equality · Race · SocietyAll ethnic groups have equal abilities on all tasks (eg. maths, sports, creativity)Mixed1 comment·Dec 16, 2023
If we're talking purely physical attributes and genetics, I'm sorry but the answer is no. There are genetics in alot of white ethnic groups that would allow for height advantage over an Asian in let's say a strongman completion.
When we are talking about mental attributes like intelligence and creativity, the answer is a definite yes. The factors that majorly influence this is not genetics but exposure and culture. If you were to bring up non-native kids as native South Koreans or Japanese and let them be exposed to the school and work culture. Most likely they'd mirror the results of the average population.
Equality · Eternals · Rights · SocietyEqual Rights have gone far enoughFor1 comment·Dec 16, 2023
I think in most western civilizations, everyone is equal under the law, and that's probably the best you can ever do for equal rights. "Far enough", does not make sense to me because to me, there's no degree of equality. It's either you're equal or not. If it's granting special privileges like affirmative action or quotas, then you've crossed the finish line of equality and somehow ended up at the starting line like a video game.
Culture Wars · Discrimination · SexualityDiscrimination against straight people is commonMixed1 comment·Dec 16, 2023
It's clear discrimination has increased over the years against straight people but to say it's common is tricky. Partly because LGBTQ+ still make a small percentage of the world. So if we assume a small percentage of that small percentage are discriminatory, in the real world the chances of you being discriminated against by a non-straight person is extremely low
