Mikkitoro

Tell me where the bible directly says that the earth is flat. And don't take it out of context by giving me one verse, I want the whole chapter.

This is my thought with suffering. It's like yin-yang, there cannot be light without darkness, there cannot be life without death and there cannot be peace without suffering. The answer to why God allows suffering is only known by him but maybe my hypothesy is correct. I don't think he intervenes in our lives cause he doesn't come across as a micromanager but he does more of guiding us in the right general direction. An example is the bible who tells us a resemblance of a live we should live. And we choose if we want that live or another but he wont stop us. That is just my opinion.
