Deplatforming is akin to trying to ban an idea… yeah good luck with that. No one benefits from deplatforming, the speech that is banned/ frowned upon simply flourishes in the depth of an Internet forum somewhere in the depths and resentment continues to build amongst this group who feel that their voices have been taken away.
Even if an individual completely disagrees with a given rhetoric, it is much better to have the enemy in the open where they are a known entity.
Given the above deplatforming does not benefit either party therefore no, it does not/is very unlikely to work.
Anti-vax · COVID-19 · Healthcare · In the NewsHospitals should prioritise vaccinated Covid patientsAgainst1 comment·Sep 3, 2021
Care will and should be determined by clinical need at the time, lifestyle choices such as not being vaccinated should not play a role in the decision. If the patient is sick enough for ITU they should get it regardless of vaccine status.
Very rarely is there a situation where it’s one patient vs another, happens in theory but not so much in practice. The odds of 2 patients needing the only remaining bed and having exactly the same clinical need is even rarer and often in these rare cases the decision will be taken by multiple professionals in a team meeting who will consider as many factors as possible.

Compatibility is ultimately the end goal of a long term relationship and is a result of both parties willing to work on themselves. Viewing compatibility as a pre-requisite for a relationship will likely close off avenues to potential partners.

Unless a degree is required for a preferred career i.e. law, medicine etc… it’s probably best avoided, study skills and knowledge in a subject of interest can be gained by most individuals online rather than forking out £9000 per year just for ‘interest’ only.
Uni is unfortunately, slowly becoming more about accreditation rather than education- have to apply this on an individual basis to determine if this is truly worth it.
Having said that there are definitely benefits, not least of which is the friendships and connections made with peers.
Would I go through it again?
