I completely agree. I think 'How I met your Mother' is more appealing in terms of humour and plot. Also, the characters are more interesting and complex, which contributes a lot to how the show is closer to us and how we relate to the characters. I love 'Friends', and I think it is one of the best comedy series of all time. But I think 'How I Met your Mother' has topped it.
