It’s very simple, you can always make more money but you can’t get more time. The biggest argument I see is that you need time to make money. But would you rather be home with your kids playing with legos and making memories or at your office answering emails?

I think it is really complicated. I've seen arguments lately that money is actually more important that time, in that money gives you time. It takes you less time to fly in a private jet to fly across the country than the time it would take you to fly commercial. The time it takes rich people to vote is much less than the time it takes a poor person to vote. The rich avoid prison, where the poor pay for crimes in time. The rich can access medical care that can fight disease that would shorten life for the poor, and can access care that extends life. Skipping queues, VIP service, delivery, access, delegation... we don't all have the same 24 hours, money actually lets the rich do much more with their time. While there are a very few instances where money can't buy more time, generally this is not the case. Money is more important than time, in that money gives you time.

Of course it depends on the quantity. Probably everyone will agree that one second of time is less important than one billion dollars. Therefore, the statement "Time is more important than money" has counterexamples. Therefore, the statement is false.
