Hopeless1

TLDR
Perspective plays a large role on what is/isn’t commonly considered.

I am a 20 something on an iPhone in my living room typing this after having a discussion on the public perspective on those transitioning in the public eye.

Whether or not I like to admit it, chances are that this prompt of thought is at a disadvantage for the mere fact that it is on an online site not connected to Facebook.
And what I mean is, most of the everyday people I know who use the internet, typically only use Facebook.
Many don’t use social media at all.

So asking for opinions on a topic like this is almost inherently biased.

(I know myself well enough to understand that I probably fall into the aforementioned educated if not necessarily the elites. )

And while I doubt every person here is an elite , I would most definitely say educated. ( no matter the type of education)
To those who live their lives based in daily tasks and providing and surviving?

Anyone sitting down to discuss Culture Wars has a luxury that those who would not consider themselves elites do not have.

Church and state should stay separate but that does not make them mutually exclusive. The concept for them being separate is to prevent authoritarian laws based in one particular religious faction. Governments in republics are supposed to represent the people, and given the diverse nature of the American demographic, it can be complicated.given that there are many beliefs and many believers. Setting standards that prevent actions that are “ anti religion”/ Not Pro Insert Religion Here (no abstaining from prayer/ no Atheist Clubs in school) are just as bad as setting standards that prevent actions that are pro religion.

There are individuals born that are not XX, or XY as far as chromosomes go. That means there are more than 2.

Animal testing has positives . For example veterinary medicine has come a long way because of it. Humans aren’t the only ones benefiting.
