In the News · Politics · SocietyThere is no reason why female hygiene products should be more expensive than male productsCommentary1 comment·Sep 14, 2021
There is no reason for gendering to change the price of a product, I agree with that. Men’s deodorant and women’s deodorant should be the same price. However, this statement takes no other factors into consideration. If the preferred fragrances for women’s deodorant are more expensive than those for men, the product will be more expensive by nature.
If you want to be cheap, you can buy whatever chemical cocktail Cool Sports Rush is.

I have no idea who that is or what they accomplished. I don’t care about sports at all, but I know about Michael Jordan Game 6 and Mike Tyson’s Heavyweight Championship, so I’m going to assert it’s less significant than those,

My name is ‘Rob’, by itself a form of violent crime, or can be short handed to ‘Bob’, occasionally a euphemism for fellatio. name burdens… you’re not Adolph
Most Karen’s I’ve met recognize the archetype and aren’t bothered because it doesn’t apply to them.
Beauty · Body · CultureBeauty has an objective standardAgainst1 comment·Sep 14, 2021
The human mind recognizes certain shapes, proportions, and textures as beautiful. Our little mammal brains really like smooth things, the ‘rule of thirds’ and the ‘golden ratio’, and shiny things not common in nature.
Equality · Money · SocietyThe less disparity in income, the better for societyAgainst1 comment·Sep 14, 2021
Some wealth/income disparity is good, and drives society forward. Extreme wealth/income disparity is bad, and stimulates crime and violence.

Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation.
This is an objective truth. We have the document, we can see the signature.
Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves.
This isn’t objective. He didn’t run around smashing chains all by his bad self, but can be attributed as one of many factors that lead to the end of slavery.

I’m not really sure what lifting boats is. I don’t know where the punctuation is supposed to be or if this is a sketchy Craigslist post.
Now I’m going to meet the character limit by describing what I had for breakfast yesterday. I fired up the barbecue around 10 in the morning and used… never mind.
I appreciate the clarification, that’s new to me.

To meet the character limit, I’m going to describe a wonderful late night snack I had after returning from my garage, quite heavily intoxicated. A peach had been ripening on the countertop for quite some time, and I, being concerned it may be the property… ope, never mind.
How to Live · Masculinity · Society'Man Up' is good adviceFor1 comment·Sep 14, 2021
Yep. It’s a good one, if you’re a good person.
-Gender bias does not apply: Say man up, say woman up, say human up. It’s a spur to action, not a gender debate. Cishet male here, if you tell me to woman up I’m gonna woman up, which is the same thing as man up.
-If you’re inconsiderate, it doesn’t matter what you say: if your friend is mourning a loved one, “man up”, “get over it”, or “where are you taking me for lunch” are all rude. If your friend is complaining about taking a small splinter out of their finger… well, man up.

Before you assume the problem is men:
First, check that the battery has charge and that the terminals are connected.
Inspect the engine bay for loose fitting hoses, cable connections, or maligned components.
Verify the tank contains adequate fuel.
Ensure that the vehicle is in neutral, and with the clutch depressed, turn the ignition.
If the vehicle still doesn’t start, the problem might be men.
Entertainment · Olympics · SportsBreakdancing should not be an Olympic sportAgainst1 comment·Sep 14, 2021
‘Judged sports’ have no place in the Olympics. Athletic skill aside, the scoring is based on art form and is interpreted by opinion, rather than quantifiable result. Breakdancing is an art, albeit a physically demanding one, but it is not a sport, and the Olympics haven’t included art in quite some time,
Biology · Eugenics · ScienceEugenics gets an unfairly bad rapFor1 comment·Sep 14, 2021
I agree, but only because the phrase doesn’t give specific example. Whether or not you agree with it, eugenics are present in any procreative relationship. Biologically, we seek out partners who will further our bloodline, indicate a high chance of survival, and strengthen our genetics. That’s breeding the human species for traits.

GOAT · Golf · SportsTiger Woods is the greatest ever golferCommentary1 comment·Sep 14, 2021
TLDR Ambiguous phrasing
There is no set standard for “greatness”. In my mind, John Daly is the greatest golfer, because he made it bearable to watch. Mathematically speaking, Andre the Giant was the greatest golfer, assuming he ever golfed, as greatness can describe size, and Alan Sheppard is the greatest golfer of all time for playing on an extra-terrestrial surface,
How to Live · Love · Relationship · SexualityConfessing to a one-night stand is selfishCommentary1 comment·Sep 14, 2021
TLDR unclear phrasing
The term “one night stand” does not imply infidelity or chastity or relationship status, merely a single-occasion sexual fling. ‘Confessing’ then doesn’t apply; am I going to shamefully confess to my friends I took that cute redhead home? Not really. If you had a one-night stand while in a committed, monogamous relationship, the confessing wouldn’t be selfish, it would be the violation of trust that would be selfish. Sentence is jumbled and unclear.
Consent · How to Live · Relationship · SexConsent can be withdrawn at any timeCommentary1 comment·Sep 14, 2021
“Any time” is too vague. Consent can only be given and rescinded in the present and the future, but not retroactively revoked. History is concrete: I consented to eating sriracha ice cream, I am currently consenting to eat sriracha ice cream, but in the future, when sriracha ice cream gives me the bubble guts, I cannot change my mind or the past about my consent to eat it.
