This is a fable, through and through. Words can indeed be hurtful. Words are quite powerful. They have caused others to end their lives. Or, led nations to commit atrocities against a certain people group. They say the pen is mightier than the sword. So is the mouth.

Obesity is more of a symptom of something else going on that can always be traced back to a disease or underlying health condition. Whether it be a mental health issue (anxiety, depression, PTSD), overactive thyroid, Prader-Willi syndrome, Cushing syndrome, osteoarthritis, or debilitating bone and ligament issues. And, sometimes it's just genetic, or a combination of all of these things.

Not all lying is wrong. If its used to save lives or prevent an injustice. For example, how many people lied to Nazi authorities by sheltering and hiding Jews during the Holocaust? If some lying is justified and used for good, therefore ALL lying is not really wrong.

All life involves some suffering at some point. We suffer from the grief of a lost loved one. We suffer from maladies. We may suffer from a job loss. A car accident. And, so forth. Some suffering is immeasurably worse than others (slavery, addiction, pain). Suffering is a part of life.
