I personally am truly happy with the sex I was born with. Even if you are not happy with it, there are ways to change it. There are many new advances in technology that are able to help.

While I feel myself to be female, love being female, and having a female form, mind and soul, I suffer for this in a male-dominated world. There have certainly been times when I have wished I had been born male just so that I would not face the discrimination I do. I am sure that those agreeing are female, as when males are faced with this question, they immediately know the answer - no, they would not choose to become someone who is treated as less than human, and faces so many more obstacles, and the world closing off around them. They know. Sometimes I would, just to have an easier life. But, that would take so much away from me. I would lose my womanly, curves, which I love. I would lose my feminine mind, which serves me well (just as well as any male mind serves them). I would lose my emotional femininity, which I feel incredibly bound to. And so I just couldn't switch.

If I could get mind swapped for like three days with a hot girl, I'd be down. Otherwise nah I'm cool being a dude.

I'm comfortable with my male body and identity, and I think my quality of life would go down if I got to be reborn as a woman. So why would I do it? Because we don't have ANYONE on this planet with that kind of perfect knowledge. A person who has fully experienced the full perspective of both a man AND a woman, from birth?! The scientific and social implications of that are pretty substantial! Why is no one talking about this?

Transmasculine non-binary person here. The experience of going through my life in the wrong body, being referred to as the wrong gender is awful, and of course I’d love to have not had to deal with that. If I could hit a button to have my same experiences but have the world treat me as if assigned the opposite sex at birth and have the corresponding body, I’d do it. But on the other hand, I like the perspective I have - I know what it’s like to be perceived as female and how awful men can be, and can use this to be more empathetic. I was also raised with the expectation that showing emotion is okay, and I feel like my relationship to emotion and traits deemed ‘feminine’ is healthier than it would be if I was cis. It gave me the chance to realize that I truly enjoy things like dance and hanging out with women and bright colors, and which people assigned male at birth don’t often get to do.

This is personal opinion. A cisgender person is definitely not going to view this the same as a transgender person. And people (regardless of sex) may only be comfortable in their current sex while others may want to try something out.

I'm not sure. I'd have had a much easier ride through society and would've been treatet better and had fewer expectations placed on me but the biological dowsides to being a woman are not something I take lightly. Honestly, after seeing women in my life suffer with heavy periods and endometriosis, I think that I'd rather be a man in spite of all the risks and hardships it entails.
