Northern Ireland is United, with Britain, by choice. There was a refferendum and the people chose to stay. The Republic took advantage of a weakened UK following WWI and waged a bloody war, killing many innocent people in their numerous terrorist attacks and endded up seceding. I can't say Britain didn't have it coming, as corrupt and abhorrent as the IRA were and are, the Empire wasn't historically friendly to the Irish. That said, Northern Ireland opted to remain part of the UK and that's how it should remain. Ireland is an Island with two countries on it. Any Southern Irish wanting to unite the island is simply an imperialist. If Ireland and Northern Ireland are to be united again, it should be by the Republic re-joining the Union.

The North does not wish to join the Republic and the Republic does not wish the North to join them. Both would prefer an independent North to a united, independent Ireland, so supporting it is to oppose democracy

The whole of Ireland should be united but under the Crown, not as a republic. Britain should take back what is rightfully hers and claim the whole island for her Majesty the Queen. Our Queen is the rightful Monarch of Ireland descended from Henry VIII. I'm not suggesting it needs to be ruled from Westminster by our PM but it does belong to the Crown.
