Hi! I am Elli Karampela and I am a PhD Researcher at the University of Sheffield writing my PhD on English literature. I have extensive proofreading and editing experience gained throughout my years of academic study, and I aim to expand on my knowledge and hands-on editorial practice with the Parlia Volunteer Programme! I am currently studying for my level 4 Diploma on Proofreading and Editing from the College of Media and Publishing, and I aspire to an editorial career in the near future. I also run a blog where you can find downloadable teaching resources for English, and it has been so much fun creating, designing and editing / proofreading the material for the website!
